Virginia Bailey Obituary
Virginia was born in Kelsey, Texas, on May 7, 1931, to James and Addie Mae Ault. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered in the Dallas Texas LDS Temple.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Addie Mae Ault of Gilmer; brother, Bryan; and sisters, Polly and Pegge.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rowan Reed Bailey; sons, Steven Bailey of Gilmer, Wesley and wife, Vicky, of Roxton, Texas, Wayne and wife, Shelia, of Chalfont, Pa., and Kent and wife, Debbie, of Lumberton, Texas; a daughter, Melanie Brown and husband, Kent, of Afton, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Parker of Carthage, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, August 1, 2012, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
