I just cannot believe Ginger and I will never grill steaks at 2AM when it was 10 below zero and make snow angels on New Years Eve. We had so much fun and I will miss our all night talks drinking wine and whities. I will miss her laugh, her friendship.
Her stuggle with pain is over and she is now at peace.

I knew Ginger while working at Classic Motor Company. Ginger was always a shining light. Her amazing smile and great sense of humor brightened up the room. I will always remember Ginger and her beautiful spirit.

Oh Sweet Ginger, We just buried "Char " my mom , an hour before your funeral. I could hardly let her go at 85. The news of your death is impossible! Reunions will never be the same for me. Ginger was always there to bring me up to speed. She didn't miss a thing! Keep it up Ginger, you will be missed.

"The Evil Dictator"

Ginger was a wonderful friend and next door neightbor. One of the things we loved to do growing up was perform in neighborhood plays, the most memorable being "The Evil Dictator." Ginger was the star of the show with her long red hair and black costume - very evil looking, indeed! I have many wonderful memories of our years on Edina Boulevard and send my greetings and sympathy to Steve and the rest of Ginger's family.

Ginger was a one of a kind !! She was always up for something, never liked to stay home always on the go. I admired her indpendence and not affraid of anything. I remember our trip to Bahamas, what an eventure that was! We almost didnt get our hotel room and almost had to sleep outside by the pool... We had good laughs about it.. Golfing with her was always a laugh all day, a crappy golf game was a good golf game with her. I am so sorry I lost touch with her over the last couple years.. got so wrapped up in my stuff and jobs and figured she will always be there to reconnect with her one of these days, I wish I could turn back time.

I was sorry to hear of Ginger's passing. I grew up next door to Ginger and we had so many good times - the neigborhood plays and outdoor games until it was too dark to see, afternoons at the pool. We had tin cans attached by string stretched across the driveway so we could talk to each other. I always thought her house was the best to play in and her dollhouse was wonderful. After high school, I moved away, but I do have these great childhood memories. I extend my condolences to her family.

Ginger was truly one of a kind. I remember our days at Classic or at Bunny's trying to win at tabs. Or the time she joined us on our boat in Stillwater.
She was a kind person and I hope that she is at peace and I know she will be missed by all knew her.

We had so many great adventures. I loved it when she would make up "lives" for strangers sitting at the bar. Golfing was like a camping trip with the full cooler and all. She was definitely one of a kind.

I knew Ginger as a fellow neighbor at Countryside Condos in Bloomington. I always enjoyed chatting with her over the years at the pool. Like Mary Tyler Moore she had spunk, and I liked that part of her personality.
Looking at the attached photo from Countryside's 2009 National Night Out celebration who would have known she was ill?
Rest in peace my friend...

Ginger was a sharp gal with a great sense of humor and will definitely be missed. We had some great times together back in the old Classic days. While this is all very sad I feel that Ging is at peace now with no more pain.
Prayers and blessings to all her family and friends-

A bright light has gone out of the lives of all who loved Ginger---and we are many. That beautiful girl! Her gorgeous hair, mischievous eyes, perfect smile. It's so hard to think I won't see her again, but I take great comfort in knowing that her pain has ended, that she can sleep now, that she did this her way, and that she did a good job.

I have known Ginger since attending Edina High School together in the 1970's. She was always a "home girl" and over time, we would often run into each other around Edina and Minneapolis. In recent years, I got to know Ginger better through common friends and friendships. Ginger was an attractive and intelligent woman and all those that knew her will miss her greatly.
