My sincere condolences, to the family, especially my friend Mary McCaskey and all who mourn, love and all who'll will miss her .
She's an icon, a mentor, a great example to women everywhere.

The wife and children of the late John E. Seitz (former Mayor of Des Plaines and usher at St. Emily Catholic Church) extend deepest condolences. It was a pleasure to know Virginia. We admired her grace and passion for her community and church and are keeping her family in our thoughts and prayers. May you look back on precious memories knowing the impact she made on the world around her.

Prayers for the McCaskey family.

She lived a long life and accomplished a lot. Her years of owning the Chicago Bears helped the team win a Super Bowl among her other accomplishments. Condolences to the McCaskey family, May God give comfort to you as you endure your time of loss.

The Torch Has Been Passed to the children of Virginia Halas McCaskey, May they all carry it with resolve and her spirit andd make her proud.

Her friendship, grace and kindness to me over the years will always be remembered. I was fortunate and lucky to have met her several times and each time she knew me on sight and greeted me warmly. A rare woman who defined respect and integrity. Virginia Halas McCaskey lived her life to the fullest and I for one, will never meet another like her.

She was more than an owner of the Chicago Bears. Football was her family´s business and stepped in to her role when she was needed. She helped the team to win, winning a Super Bowl and became the longest living NFL team owner. Condolences to the McCaskey family. May God be with you in your time of loss.

The last link connecting the past to the present has now left us with a hole never to be filled. May she join her dad her husband, children, and all the Bear greats that have passed to the big field in the sky. Her voice while quiet will still be heard.
