Thank you Nora for getting word to us about your Mom. Linda, Joe and I always enjoyed visiting your family at both the farm and in Auburndale. Our prayers are with you and Myrna.

Dear family
Thank you for informing us about Virginia's death. She was a great woman and fun to know. We have visited her and uncle Meril in Auburndale after we were introduced to then by Doug and July Pitts. Lou and Joyce (Julie's parents) are good friends of ours since 1988 when we met in Europe. After that I (Karien and not married at the time) stayed with them in Bloomington IN for a while and getting to know Doug en Julie with whom we also became very good friends. Through Doug and Julie we got introduced to "uncle Meril" and Virginia when he came to Indi to make Julie's kitchen cabinets way back then! Needless to say after that uncle Meril and Virginia invited us two South Africans to Florida to visit Disney - and so we did. We still have two of uncle Meril's lazy Suzan trays in my kitchen and one of his antique telephone fridge magnets on our walk in fridge. We will always have good memories of the both of them and wish the family all the best during this time. Virginia will be missed and remembered by us. Lots of warm South African love accompanies this message.
