RADISH VIRGINIA A. (VIDMAR)
Age 90, of Harwick, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in Forbes Hospice of West Penn Hospital. She was born in Renton on October 12, 1925, to her parents, the late Paul and Anna Mrak Vidmar. Virginia grew up in Blanchard and later moved to Harwick where she resided with her loving husband of 68 years, Frank, who was her devoted caregiver. Mrs. Radish was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Harwick. She enjoyed cooking, baking and especially spending time with her family. Survived by her loving husband and devoted caregiver, Frank F. Radish; daughters, Marian (Bruce) Phillips of Smithton, Diane M. Cutrara of Cheswick; son, Frank W. (Nicole) Radish of Harmony; grandchildren, Julie Perrotte, Jenna Cutrara, Benjamin Phillips and Alex Cutrara; great-grandchildren, Evan, Jayden and Anthony; sister, Stella Hughes of Aspinwall; brother-in-law, Thomas Downing; sister-in-law, Olga Vidmar. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Panza; son-in-law, Mark Cutrara; two sisters; Julia Vecenie and Irma Downing; and two brothers, Paul and Harry Vidmar. Friends will be received on Friday, January 8, 2016, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1607 Pgh. St. from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church with The Rev. Alan Morris, officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Allegheny Health Network, 4818 Liberty Ave., Pgh., PA 15224.
