Virginia Lee Silva

Scottsdale - Virginia Lee Silva, 72, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. Virginia was a cherished wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother.

She was born on March 6, 1953, in Vallejo, California, and later moved to Prunedale in the Salinas Valley. In high school, she met her lifelong love, Joe Silva. Together they built a flourishing family and business, creating a legacy of hard work, love, and unity. That foundation allowed Virginia and Joe to move full-time to Scottsdale in 2006, where their home became the heart of holidays and gatherings with those she held most dear.

While Virginia contributed greatly to the success of the family business, her greatest joy was her home and her family. She was a steady presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren, ensuring they always felt safe, loved, and understood. She will also be remembered for her lifelong love of animals and her deep affection for the music of Elvis Presley, whose songs brought her comfort and joy.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joe Silva; her children, Thomas Silva, Daniel Silva (Suzanna), and Trisha Brodaksilva (Geoffrey); and her seven grandchildren, who will carry her spirit forward. Her legacy lives not in a single moment, but in the countless ways she gave of herself-through love freely shared, sacrifices quietly made, and wisdom gently passed on to the next generation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that reflects Virginia's lifelong compassion for others.
