LAPOLLA, Vito July 18, 1929 - March 28, 2011 Passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-two on March 28, 2011 surrounded by his family. Loving husband to Maria for over fifty-seven years, dearest father to Antonietta (Barry). Predeceased by his sons Luigi, Bruno and Mike. Born in Panni, Foggia, Italy to Luigi and Giusseppina. He will be dearly missed by his family, brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews and dear friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all the nurses and staff of CA3 East of the Grace Dart Extended Care Centre for their dedicated care and support for the family. We would also like to extend those wishes to the staff at Santa Cabrini Hospital for the care they gave him during his final days. A very special thank you for the compassionate care given by person caregivers Judy and Celina. The family will receive condolences this Thursday, March 31, 2011 at: 10300 boul. Pie IX Montreal North (Quebec), H1H 3X1 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church, 7645 rue du Mans, St. Leonard, Montreal (Quebec), H1S 2A1. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Dad, we were blessed to have shared so many years together. We love you and will miss you. Rest in peace.
