VIVIAN M. De La TORRE Feb. 8, 1952 - Feb. 14, 2003 Vivian was born in Bakersfield, CA, and passed away in Fresno. She was the eldest daughter of Arthur and Amelia Cortez of Tehachapi, CA, and graduated from Tehachapi High School in 1970. Vivian was an extraordinary woman whose heart was made of gold. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother who cherished her time with her farnily. Vivian is survived by her loving husband Joe; sons, Joey, Nicholas and Christopher; father, Arthur Cortez; brothers, Ronald, Phillip and his wife Shirley, Gregory and his wife Cory, Jamie and his wife Mary, and Raymond; sisters, Elaine Copeland and her husband Steve, and Kathleen Hackney and her husband Vance. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 5770 N. Maroa Ave., in Fresno, on Friday, March 14, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, California Northern Chapter, P.O. Box 231548, Sacramento, CA 95823.
