In Loving Memory of Wade Andrew Morris

Celebrating a Life Well-Lived

Wade Andrew Morris passed away peacefully at his home in Tuttle, Oklahoma, on February 6, 2025. Born in Oklahoma City on May 27, 1968, Wade was welcomed into the world with great joy. Six days later, he came home to his proud parents, Darline and John Morris, to begin his adventure in living life to its fullest.

Wade met his wife, Page, in Midland, Texas in 1999. They were married in Freestone Park in Gilbert Arizona on January 13, 2001. Wade and Page were sealed in the Mesa Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on March 22, 2002.

Wade's passions were many, and his interests diverse. He had a deep love for football, Nascar, dirt track racing, hunting, and camping. These hobbies brought him immense joy and were often shared with family and friends, creating lasting memories. Wade's love for his family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers was evident in all he did.

In his professional life, Wade owned a paving business, concrete business and then discovered a love he did not even know he had. Wade fell in love with oil and gas well production enhancement; he took to making the gas flow like a duck to water. He started Morris CNG and continued in the oil patch until the onset of the disease that would ultimately take him too soon, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy.

Wade was preceded in death by his mother, Darline, and his elder brothers Mike and Dick Edgmon, and many other cherished family members. Despite these losses, Wade's spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to embrace life with an infectious enthusiasm.

He is survived by his wife, Page, his two children, Zachary and Aubrey, grandchildren Colton and Delta Dawn, as well as Wade's father, John, stepmother Tanya, and sister Maranda.

Wade met friends everywhere he went. Rest in peace, Wade, and fly high. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. We will celebrate his life in epic Wade-style in Summer 2025. As soon as the date and location are set, we will let everyone know to come join us.

I cannot begin to list our adventures. Though, I haven't seen Wade for 25 years, I cannot safely say, he could not have possibly changed. He was the oldest in college so he was the parent. He was the Parent that put us in stock cars, hunted deer at night, and drove us home when we couldn't walk :) He was the friend who showed up to build your barn after the tornado took it and made custom stock trailers for your birthday. He was the man who I cannot recall was ever late to work. Whether we were pushing cows, rebuilding engines, or building houses, he was the first one there first and always had breakfast burritos.

I found Wade on FB 15 years ago and found that he added Dad to his list of titles and it was the only thing he wanted to talk about....until his Grandchildren came along. It was a nice break from his stupid jokes. I'll miss Wade tremendously and I have no doubt he's already been into the food at the marriage supper table.

When Wade would come into the Kum & Go store in Plentywood, Mt he made my day with his wonderful greetings of his southern "hello". This made my day. And when he moved the family up here that was even better because they became family to me just like he did.
God brought him and his family into my life and I´m so blessed to have met them. My God bless all of you!

I´ll always remember the barbecues and playing apples to apples and laughing til my side hurt when answers were off the wall. I will miss Wade´s sense of humor.
