God bless your family at this time of great loss; rest assured that a wonderful person has left the best impressions on many more people than you know. We at Normandy are mourning with you, Chuck was the kindest most generous neighbor. He is already missed at our exercise class and by the Winter Hall Walkers.

Uncle Chuck was a great man. I will never forget the wonderful gatherings with him, Aunt Kathy and all of the cousins. We always had so much fun. Uncle Chuck was always so happy to have his family around him. He will be terribly missed. I have a very special place in my heart for him right there next to my dad, Tom Aldis.
You can rest now Uncle Chuck. God has blessed you and will keep you now.

Uncle Chuck - you have been a great inspiration in all of our lives. My 4 year old daughter has shown me happiness through the sorrow and sadness we all are feeling. She told me that we really didn't lose you because we can talk to you any time we want and you will always be in our hearts. She is only 4 and you've made an amazing impact on her life, Thank You! I love you very much and I'm going to take her advice, you will always be in my heart.
P.S. My birthday won't be the same without you.
Love Krissy

Uncle Chuck gave me a direct line to his great big heart and made a difference in my life with his Fatherly love, kindness and humor. Hugging him was a real hug. I'll sorely miss him, but as The Lord promised, he will be with us always. We're praying that the light of God's face shines on you in the darkness of your grief.

I love grampa so much and I really missed him when I heard the news. I lots of fun with Grampa like the times when he used to go trick-or-treating with us. He actually wore a coustume with us! I also remember when I used to just visit him and sometimes we went to get lunch together with mom, dad, and my brothers. I really miss grampa but I'm glad he didn't have to suffer. Oh, and sorry if this little note made you cry. (Don't worry, I kinda cried, too.)I'm happy grampa is in Heaven with Nick and Gramma now.

Dad I learned so many things from you I don't know where to begin. You always taught through example: how to be a hardworking honorable man with integrity. I try to model myself after that. I don't always succeed but I never stop trying. I only hope I made you proud. There are so many memories going through my head these last days. Our trip to Alaska, our hunting trips in Oklahoma, the time we destroyed the gas pump in Missouri (oops). All of it is special. There is never enough time to do and be everything you want to be but you sure made the best of yours. Thank you for the man that you were and thank you for shaping me into the man that I am. I love you.

From your example, I learned that the most important part of how to live as a man is to love your family and friends with all your heart. Thank you for showing me that love continuously throughout your life. You were the greatest father. I will miss you, but I will always feel your love!

I never knew your father but as a father of eight. I know how hard that task can be. He seems to have done a great job raising his family and you should remember all the good times. I know that my dad is still with me even though he died in 1985. God bless you and may He help you in your sorrow..

You were the oldest son of the oldest son. Now I am. How am I ever going to fill those shoes? So many people we grew up with have mentioned how many times they would be at our house when they couldn't or didn't want to go home. They considered our house their second home. It seemed like someone was always sleeping in the basement. What a great way to grow up.

There are no words that will ever express how much I will miss you. My God Father, my role model, my stand-in-father. Even with your own 7 children, you stepped in to take on that role with 6 more when no one even asked you to. This describes the type of person you were. You had the biggest heart of anyone I know. I will be forever grateful and I will cherish all the memories that we shared. There will always be a special place in my heart for you that no one else can fill. You will be missed tremendously. Thank you for being you. Love forever and always, Yvette
