BAYNES, Walter Joseph "Joe" On February 19, 2005, Joe Baynes of Wetaskiwin passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving family: Bob (Merrily) Baynes of Lake Isle, Debbie (Paul) Carter-Kirk of Edmonton, Donna Fox of Nanaimo, son-in-law Merv Schick of Golden, BC; grandchildren, Doug, Cinda (Grant), Rob, Brad (Toresa), Markel, Mitchel, Briana, Nolan and Danica; great-grandchildren, Mark, David, Ashelond and Jaydalyn; sisters, Mary of Terrace, BC and Nellie of Victoria, BC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian and daughter, Gail. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 - 50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin) with Reverend Jim Reeb officiating. Interment to follow in the Field of Honour at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of one's choice.
