Walt was my neighbor for over 25 years and I've never known such a helpful, kind, generous and interesting man. He would help anyone do anything in the neighborhood and never asked for anything in return, a very rare quality these days. He'd see us struggling with mechanical issues on a car and Walt would come over and help. If we were building something, or cleaning up yard debris, Walt would walk over and offer assistance. I will truly miss him and his very cool stories about his service in the military. He was also a like a second dad or grandfather to my sons when their father passed away suddenly at a young age. An amazing man!
Godspeed Walt. You were one of a kind. My deepest condolences to the family.

Walk was my grandfather and taught me many values in life like how to fish how to build things and even swing a golf club from time to time but the most I got out of being his grandson was how to treat family and be a stand up guy. Walt was the type of man that would help anyone do anything , even if he did t know how to do it lol. He is and always will be dearly missed I. My heart. Love you grandpa
