I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Wally's passing. I only knew Wally for a short time with his involvement with Steve's ball hockey but I will always remember his honesty, enthusiasm and his love of life. My condolences to Sharon, Steve & their family.

It's only been a week and I miss you so much. We have so many friends that have shared their love with the family. You have no idea the legacy you have left behind.
Love you always, Daddy's little girl.

Wally, from watching you ride by the house on your bike day after day, or seeing you at the field rain or shine to watch the various soccer and ball teams play, to laughing at your jokes when the obvious was just too obvious to mention, you knew just how to put it to bring a smile to our faces. You were one of a kind. We are glad to have known you for the past four years and wish there had been many more. All our love to Sharon and the Couper clan. A unique group of dear friends.

My condolences to "Wally's" family. He was a good man with a big heart and a love of sports. When Chris and Steve played soccer, you could be sure Wally would be there....shouting words of encouragement and giving advice to the players. He had a knack for knowing the talents and skills of every player and instinctively knew where they should be on the field. I admired his spirit. I'll miss you on the sidelines Wally. I am sure you will be coaching another team where you are.
