Walter Joseph "Wally" Jackson

Walter Joseph Jackson, known affectionately as Wally, passed away on July 6 2024, at the age of 78 in Narrendera, NSW. Born on may 11, 1946, in Junee, NSW, Walter led a life marked by dedication and warmth.

Walter spent much of his career as a wardsman at the Randwick Prince of Wales Hospital, where his hard work and commitment to patient care were evident. Outside his professional life, Walter was known for his love of driving to Sydney, spending quality time with his beloved dog, Buddy, and cherishing moments with his family.

Those who knew Walter would describe him as easy-going yet stubborn, a man who held his convictions close but remained open and amiable in his relationships. His interests and personality made him a beloved figure in his community and among his peers.

Walter leaves behind his siblings Bruce, Bill, and Pamela, and his daughter Michelle. Grandchildren Lachlan, shanice, Cody , Indiana and Zane He was preceded in death by Johnny, Bobby, and Eric. His life was celebrated at a service held on July 12, 2024, at 1 pm at Leeton Salvation, where friends and family gathered to honor his memory and legacy.

Walter's life was one of kindness, resilience, and love, deeply felt by all who had the pleasure to know him. He will be missed dearly.
