Roger -- We were so sorry to read in the Everett Herald today (2/21/06) of your father's passing away on 1/23/06. This e-mail "Guest Book" is quite something...hope you get our message. Know, Roger, that many hearts are with you hoping you will have the strength you need to get through this most difficult time. Nothing can ever replace the wisdom, advice and love of your father. May you find comfort in remembering all the guidance, strength and love with which your father touched your life. Those precious gifts will always live on in you. Reading that he lived in Marysville, know he must have loved sharing your basketball coaching successes and you must have loved having him nearby to share them with.
Be sure to give Sandy our best. Chatted with Patty (Yellam) Barber recently...she is still teaching at Olympia High School in the business dept. I am still substitute teaching in Snohomish and Arnold still has our real estate office on Highway 2 between Snohomish and Monroe. Three of our four are still in college....Henley is a senior at Univ. of Penn. in Philly, Hale is a junior at the UW and Haley is a soph. at Trinity Univ. in San Antonio. One of our fav. restaurants is the Cafe de Paris in Edmonds down by the ferry terminal....send me your and Sandy's cell nos. and e-mail addresses and we'll give you two a call the next time we are down there and we can all get together.
Again, Roger, it is our prayer that God's presence, your endless fond memories of your dad, and the love of your family and friends will give you the strength to meet each new day. With sympathy, Marilyn and Arnold (cell-- 425-308-3432)
