WALTER SCHWARTZ Obituary
DR. WALTER W., March 14, 2016. Loving husband for 61 yrs. of the late Bernice (nee Cohen) of Broomall. Father of Scott Andrew Schwartz, Sr., Lisa B. Schwartz, PhD and the late Jeffrey Schwartz. Brother of Elaine Stratt. Also survived by niece Mara Stratt and family, nephew Bruce Stratt and family, daughter-in-law Rose Kane Schwartz and grand-children Amanda (Seth), Blake (Brittany), and Cassandra. Also survived by 2 great grand-children. He will be deeply missed by his dedicated and loyal staff and patients. Also his beloved canine companion Dixie. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Thursday 1:30 P.M. JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPELS (WEST), 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall PA. Int. Haym Salomon Memorial Park. The family will return to the late residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Thanks to all of you for your heartfelt condolence notes. Your messages of gratitude and sharing of how our father touched each of you is deeply appreciated and provides comfort in ways that can not be expressed.

Dr. Schwartz was my mentor...He taught me everything I know about medicine. The finest doctor I have ever met.
Taught me about life, hard work and dedication.
Although I have not seen him in years, I still think about him everyday.
God bless you Dr. Schwartz, you will be forever in my prayers.

Smartest Doctor I have EVER met and an honor to be his patient; finding another to replace such a vast knowledge will be extraordinarily difficult.
Pray that he enjoyed the banana bread(s) I was able to share with him and Staff.

Dr. Schwartz was my doctor for over 10 years. We drove from Philadelphia to Springfield every visit because he was that good of a doctor. He always listened and truly cared. He changed my life and I will miss him.

Dr. Schwartz had so many wonderful attributes. A dedicated doctor, beautiful artist, compassionate animal lover and could read hormones like no other. I will miss him and be forever thankful for the care he gave me. Rest In Peace Doc.

Wow I cannot believe this he was invincible to me he saved me and truly cared about me he was like a grandfather to me and I'm so sorry I missed the funeral until we meet again and I can tell you how truly grateful I am to have had you in my life for over 5 years and to let you know how much you were greatly admired and appreciated
