To the family,
I’m sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that he is in God’s care. May His presence begin the healing in your heart and soul, and may His love surround you with the comfort only He can give.
I met Mr. Thompson (neighbor as we called him) years ago through my dear friends the Morris family. When I first met him he reminded me a lot of my grandfather. He was such a nice man with a big heart and a big smile. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
My prayers are with you all,
Michelle Stewart (Charlottesville VA)

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the family of "Nip". I remember him well as a person who had the best laugh, great personality and wonderful friend. He use to visit my parents and his laugh could be heard throughout the house. He is now resting in the arms of our Lord.
May the memories of wonderful times spent with him surround you with love and comfort.
