Walter Henriksen Ullerup

ULLERUP, WALTER HENRIKSEN Walter Henriksen Ullerup, Sr, 99, of Wallingford, passed away on August 18, 2012. Born in New Haven on June 4, 1913 to the late Peter and Margaret Petersen Ullerup. Walter leaves his wife of 66 years, Marjorie Lindbrugh Ullerup; son, Bruce Ullerup and his wife Sandra of Mars Hill, NC; grandchildren, Judy Helms of Cheshire, Bruce Ullerup, Jr of East Haven, Peggy Deem & Debbie Van Dyken, both of WA, and Denise Ullerup of FL. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Margaret McGeehan; son, Walter Ullerup, Jr; granddaughter, Kathleen McGeehan; sister, Hilda Fioretti. Walter lived and raised his family in West Haven before living in Cheshire and most recently Wallingford. He was a proud member of Annawon Masonic Lodge 115 in West Haven, was a great painter, and enjoyed a good game of golf. He worked for many years at Columbia Records before his retirement. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 23rd at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden at 10:00 a.m. followed by an interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
