Walter Winton Obituary
Walter was born on September 9, 1985 in Fort Worth. He attended Paschal High School where he was a member of the football team, and the jazz band in which he played with his brother Todd. He attended two years at the University of North Texas in the jazz studies program and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2009. Walter was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, and cousin and dearly loved his family and friends. His family is finding strength during this time knowing he is with the Lord. "...God himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying or pain..."-- Rev. 21: 3-5.
Survivors: mother Marna Yerigan and step-father David Yerigan; father Chris Winton and step-mother Teri Winton; brother Todd Winton and step-brother Randy Yerigan; grandmothers Dianna Moore and Jo Winton; aunt/uncle Lisa and Mac Tichenor, cousin Taylor Tichenor and wife Sarah and son Michael. Also, aunts, uncles and cousins in the Evans/Coleman, Fay, Penn/Miller, Smith and Ross families. He was preceded in death by his cousin Willie Tichenor and grandfather Ed Winton.

We met Walter only recently. He was such a Wonderful person. So hard to believe this happened. I know of the love of every parent for their child. May God be with, comfort you and relieve your pain. May God be with Walter and grant him peace with Our Lord and Savior Jesus.

I knew Walter in high school and we would see each other around here and there in the years after. Such a sweet natured guy and a wonderful musician, this breaks my heart. Keeping all of Walter's friends and family in my thoughts.

I´m so sad to hear of this news. In jazz band the drummer and bass player must have a connection to hold the rest of the band together and I´m glad I had the pleasure to play drums with such an awesome bass player at Paschal.
