Wanda (Jeannie) Nash, 61, died June 22, 2019 with her family by her side in Beaumont, Texas.
She was born October 17, 1957 in Dallas, TX to Doyle and Imogene Gardner. Jeannie grew up in Dallas and married Kenneth Nash October 31, 1978. They moved to Diboll Texas in 1983 to raise their children in the country. Jeannie was a CNA which started her career in the healthcare field. While her children were in school, she was active in PTA and volunteered at any and all events she was needed. She frequently was found at softball games keeping score (or sideline coaching), working concessions, and was an active member of the band booster club and was everyone's mom. She also enjoyed country western dancing and could often be seen at the Starlight or the Electric Cowboy cutting a rug.
Jeannie is survived by her sister, Mary Cox of Mesquite, TX. Son Kenny Nash and husband Scot Kirkegaard of Carrollton, TX. Daughter, Darla Nash of Groves, TX, grandson Dylan Frankens and Fiance Hannah Hernandez of Port Neches, TX, granddaughter Madison Frankens of Groves, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Imogene Gardner, Sister Mollie Moyer, husband Kenneth Nash, and stepson Kevin Nash.
Donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association.
