Our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, Wanda Skelton, went to be with the Lord on September 13th 2025, at age 87.

She was laid to rest on September 19th at Crestview Memorial cemetery. She was married to her sweetheart of 67 years, Tommy Skelton, until his passing in 2021. They lived in Electra and Wichita Falls, Texas where they raised five children. Terry Skelton and Wife Paula, Pam Blankenship and Husband, Ron, Carla Sinclair, and Husband, Jerry, and April Anderson and Husband, Michael all local to Wichita Falls area, and son, Keith Skelton and wife Leticia of Salado, Texas. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Alma Lee, Hunter Glissen and Grady O Glissen and two sisters, Lula Mae Story, and Brenda Doris Fleming.

She worked at Sprague electric and Presbterian Manor as a nurses aid for 15 years. She will always be known for her love of family, her kind and caring ways, as well as her love for gardening and flowers. The family would like to express sincere gratitude for all of the loving caregivers that cared for her over the years.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Meals On Wheels.

Wanda was a wonderful caregiver when I worked with her at Presbyterian Manor. She was always sweet and kind. May her memory be a blessing to her family.
