It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Warren Donald Campbell, surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 5, 2011 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband and soulmate of Julianne "Judy". Predeceased by parents, Warren (1979) and Marlowe (2001). Loving father of Shelly (Stephen) and Jeffrey (Kerry-Lynn), their mother, Glenna Campbell. Proud grandfather of Samantha, Tayler, Sarah- Michelle and Brodee. Sadly missed by Judy's family, Melinda (Art) and Perry (Michele), and children Chris, Nick, Lisa and Brittany. Dear brother of Rita (late Leslie Kehoe), Bill (Jutta), Eleanor (Mick), Patsy (late Joe Belsher), Bob (Myrna) and Karen (John Brunton). Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, and mother-in-law, Birdie Miljour as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at W. J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral Saturday to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Shawville, Quebec for Service at 2 p.m. Interment Norway Bay United Cemetery. I still remember going into the shop as a teenager on a very limited budget trying to fix up my old Polaris TX I bought. Donnie would go looking for a part, would actually have it in stock, look up the price, and go, "Oh that's too much - just give me..."
The price was always a lot cheaper and I sure appreciated the break.

We share your sadness and loss at this time. We admire Donnie's courageous battle and remember the joy he found in life. Donnie was a farmer's best friend. He could design, repair and build, better than new. He fixed ski doos but always told you if you drove a Polaris, you wouldn't have the same breakdowns and more time on the trail.
The "Cool Cat" "Underdog" and "Fast Sleds" - Donnie led the pack but always kept fun in the sport. From the early days of the hard top to the big R.V. he could tell stories, tease, take jokes and get you back one better! He could usually make you believe it wasn't him that did it. He taught most of us to drink Bicardi's Rum! Donnie could remember eveyone he met and every road and trail he travelled. We will miss you. It was our pleasure to share your road.
