SHAVERTOWN — Patricia Kerpovich, 79, of Shavertown, was granted her angel wings on March 15, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family.
She was born June 16, 1941, in Edwardsville, to Lottie Drust and John Yudiski.
Patricia graduated from Edwardsville High School and went on to marry the love of her life of 62 years, Arthur Kerpovich. They together as partners ran Art Kerpovich Sanitation. Her husband lovingly refers to her as his "right hand man." Patricia was his bookkeeper for many years.
She enjoyed spending her time with family, raising her four daughters, decorating her home and shopping. She was looking forward to meeting her newest great-grandchildren but was taken too soon. They will now have a loving guardian angel looking over them.
She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur Kerpovich, daughters, Karen Neare (Tunkhannock), Jaclyn Shemanski (Robert), of Kingston, Kristen Roppelt (Robert), of Shavertown, grandchildren: Justin Neare and wife Liz, Jason Neare, Jessica Neare Feaster and husband Aaron, Kaley and Ashely Dunbar, Alexis and Gabrielle Shemanski, Nathan Roppelt, great-grandchildren: Reese Lynae Feaster, Maxwell and Maven Patrick.

Dearest Art, girls, & family,
I'm so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. God bless her as she is reunited with my dear friend Wendy, they will be shopping in heaven. Pat was a great person who loved life and you Art. I pray that she is at peace now and is free from the physical pain and the emotional pain of losing Wendy. Take comfort in the fact that you all were good to her and took great care of her throughout her life. May God grant you peace and comfort knowing that your wife, Mom, and grandma is in a better place.
God Bless You All,
Beth Ross
