Warren A. â€œCurleyâ€� Whitney, Sr., age of 82, was called home by our Heavenly Father on August 4, 2009. Beloved husband of Mary DeMarie Whitney. Father of Rose Loescher, Tammy Whitney, Amanda Whitney and Warren A. Whitney, Jr. Brother of Rachel, Mae and John A. Whitney. Preceded in death by his parents Horatio Whitney and Annie Musgrave Whitney. Survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives, friends of the family, and members of the CLIO and St. Bernard Sportsmen Leagues are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 10 AM until 12 PM at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 West Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA 70043.
