GRANGER, Mrs. Waunet Phillips, 75, of 5 South King St., Samson, AL, died Saturday, December 28, 2002 in Wiregrass Hospital following a brief illness. Memorial Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Samson First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Arrington officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2002 in Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.Mrs. Granger was born May 17,m 1925 in Samson, Alabama to the late Scisro and Alma Lee Haney Phillips. She is survived by three sons, James Granger, Lumberton, NC, Steve Granger, Warrensburg, MO and Don Granger, Destin, FL; two sisters, Margie Bennett, Baton Rouge, LA and Lonell McCall, Samson, AL and two brothers, Gene Phillips, Panama City Beach, FL and Billy Phillips, Bonifay, FL.
