Daddy-O, you will forever be missed, I cherrish all the wonderful memories we've shared. I know you are looking down on us from heaven and will always guide us in spirit as you did when you walked this earth. Unfortunately as us kids get older then comes life responsibilities that get in the way of spending that extra time with the ones you love but you will always be the best grandfather I've ever had. One of my earliest memories that probably goes back 35yrs was when we would walk up the street to see you, I'd run up and give you a big hug, you would be in your favorite chair watching tv. You would whisper to me "run out to the freezer and get us a fudge pop, now don't let nobody see you". That began a routine every time I would go up and visit we always got fudge pops and would grin like we were being sneaky. Another great first is when he taught me how good peanuts and coke went together, this wasn't the coke we have now it was the glass bottle ones and every time we would see him at his salvage yard he would always have 50 cents waiting on us when we came running around the counter to give him hugs. That's just a few memories, there are many more like the ones where he would pray for you when he knew you were hurting or sad and when you were sick and needed prayer for healing he was always there. So I light this candle in remembrance to you Daddy-O so you know I will always have you in my heart forever. Love, your Renny Tin-tin

I will never forget Michael Dye, my late husband calling you at 4am wanting to give his life to the Lord. You got up and we drove there and you didnt hesitate to spend a couple of hours with him. I also will never forget the dedication service we had for my and Mike's two children, Chance and Haley as we dedicated them to The Lord. YOU WERE AN AMAZING MAN Waymond. I appreciate everything you and Sheila did for us.You will FOREVER be missed until we meet again in Heaven and I PROMISE YOU I WILL BE THERE When my time is up. MY PRAYERS GO UP FOR THE STRICKLIN FAMILY

What a wonderful man. I have told my children and grandchildren the story of him hitting the wall full throttle at Sayre Speedway. He was always OUR favorite driver we wore OUR Stricklin #7 shirts PROUDLY. Prayers for your family and peace going forward. Christine Haynes Landreth
