Gilbert Grey Coonley

Gilbert Grey Coonley Gilbert Grey Coonley passed away October 17, 2015 at the age of 83. He was born in San Francisco, which is where he lived most of his life, until moving to Ukiah in 1997. He was a Musician, a Marine, and a Reserve Officer with the SFPD. He did part-time work in Insurance Sales, Real Estate, and Private Investigation; however, it was his career with the United States Postal Service that spanned over four decades. Gil was preceded in death by his son, Michael Coonley, and daughter-in-law, Wendy Coonley. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Coonley; son, Bill Coonley of El Sobrante; daughter-in-law, Gina Morris-Coonley of El Sobrante; son, James Coonley of Ukiah and daughter, Kathleen Coonley of Ukiah. He will always be remembered for his loyalty, integrity, and sense of humor.
