BERGLUND _ Wayne Maurice May 1, 1944 - October 18, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Maurice Berglund announces his passing on Thursday, October 18, 2007. He leaves to mourn his death his wife Theresa Berglund; parents Mildred and William Berglund; son Donald (Jackie) Berglund; grandchildren Tara, Amber and Troy Berglund; as well as his extended family across Canada. Wayne was predeceased by his son Wesley Berglund. Wayne was born in Dryden, Ontario. He spent a short time in Cranbrook before moving to Calgary. After receiving his Auto Mechanic Diploma from SAIT, Wayne's career was spent in sales, Council for the MD of Foothills in Subdivision Consulting, and most recently Real Estate. The rest of his time was spent with his family, maintaining the acreage, travelling and community activities. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the SNODGRASS FUNERAL HOME in Okotoks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calgary Prostate Cancer Foundation, 100, 1011 Glenmore Trail, Calgary, AB T2V 4R6 or Foothills Country Hospice Society, Box 274, Okotoks, AB T1S 1A5. Dear Mildred,Bill,Theresa,Don,Jackie and children,
We are so sorry for your loss.
We will always remember Wayne's "large" sense of humour. He always had something funny to say or a story to tell.
When Wayne and Theresa invited my son, Tyler to stay with them on the ranch while he was working construction in Calgary, Wayne taught Tyler how to be a cowboy!

He taught him how to put up barb-wire fence just as he had taught Tyler's Dad, Ron, many years earlier.

Wayne will be sadly missed.
All of his memories will always be with you to cherish.
