My sincere condolences to the entire Bigelow family.
Dr. Bigelow was an exceptional man, and offered much to the community of Hughson during his time there. His family was also a blessing to Hughson, and our community is better for the Bigelow family.

My sincerest condolences to the Bigelow family. Dr Wayne was a great man who was admired by my family. He was a wonderful neighbor, friend and doctor. I can see him sawing wood, stopping and asking about my life. He so genuinely cared for others. His support during health problems was complete. Thank you Dr. Wayne for being an example of how to treat others.

Dr. Wayne was my Doctor most of my childhood. He was the kindest Godly man I know. He raised his children in a manor that would please our Lord and Savior. See you in heaven Dr. Wayne.
Prayers for the family

How blessed we were to have known Wayne Bigelow. Beverly Tucker (now Iubelt) and her family, and my family were blessed to have Dr Wayne Bigelow as our physician in our youth (this was before Bev and I had even met). We were blessed again to have him preach at Eastside Church of Christ and Sunrise Christian Church in Turlock California. he was our Sunday school teacher in high school as well as our leader for mid week Bible studies. Wayne Bigelow and his family opened up their home every Sunday night to our youth group studies where not only the kids from our church would show up, but as many as an additional 20 to 30 kids from other towns and churches would show up. This was definitely a credit to Wayne Bigelow and his family accepting and loving kids from other walks of life. Wayne Bigelow would go on to give both Bev and I marriage counseling before we were married and then Officiate our marriage in 1979. He would go on to help the Tucker/Iubelt family and those at Sunrise Christian Church with the passing of Bevs mom later that year. Dr Bigelow went over to SJBC for years to provide medical assistance. What a contribution Wayne Bigelow has made to our lives as well as others. If I had to describe Wayne Bigelow in two words it would be "The Encourager". I can´t remember talking with him where he wasn´t encouraging us in our spiritual lives. We will miss him here for a short time, until we are reunited in heaven. What a celebration must be going on in heaven and what a reunion that will be when we all get together again.

Dr. Bigelow: You were a close friend and mentor to my father, Dr. Kenji Kurita. You encouraged my father to remain in Modesto as a young surgeon and that you would refer your patients to him. During my childhood you invited our family to spend some time with you and your family for July 4th celebrations and riding your horses on your ranch in Hughson. I remember you fondly as a warm, kind, and gentle man who taught me not to be afraid of your horses and ride with confidence. On behalf of the Kurita family we extend our deepest condolences to your family. May you rest in eternal peace. Respectfully, Ken Kurita

Practiced with Wayne in Turlock, CA for 20 years. I always marveled at how Wayne was able to practice medicine and his faith together in such a loving manor. It was a pleasure and an honor for me.
