Janice Eric and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. I have very fond memories of him during those early softball years in Colver. Karen has always kept me updated on how Wayne was doing but this phone call was one I had hoped never to receive. If we can be of any help we are just a phone call away. To any other Colverite who might be reading this...please hold this family tenderly in your arms for those of us who cannot be there to do this for ourselves. All the love we have in our hearts....Rod, Teresa (Forbes) and Jackie Wagley

Janice and family, I was deeply saddened to see that Wyne passed away. My wife Donna has had several treatments at the same time as Wayne and I talked to both of you at the treatment center. The little bit of time we talked meant a lot to both of us. I have been praying for Wayne during his treatment and I will be praying for you and your family. May God bless you and help you to stay strong.

It is hard to express the heartfelt sorry we feel for Janice, Eric and the rest of Wayne's family, as well as the loss we feel personally.
Although we moved from Ebensburg only 2 years after Wayne's diagnosis, we knew a man who faced cancer with optimism, determination and total lack of self pity. A man who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
May he rest in the peace of knowing he left the world a better place because of his presence.
With love,

Carrie (Grove) Kessler

Dear Jan and Eric -
I was so saddened to hear about Wayne today. He was such a fantastic man and will be missed by so many. You were both very lucky to have him as your husband and father. I will always remember Wayne coming into the Middle School office with his boisterous voice telling us about something going on with the school or something happening in town. He was always happy and shared that happiness with you.
Anyone could tell he just adored you both and was very proud of you. You were his life now and always.
You are all in my prayers...
Love, Carrie (Grove) Kessler
