Wayne Kenneth Hunt

Wayne Hunt Passed on to Eternal life on February 14th 2025 Wayne was born in Locke heights RD 2 Bangor on November 3rd 1943 to hear him tell it on grandma's kitchen table. He was the Son of the Late Kenneth and Ruth (Apple) Hunt. A 1961 graduate of Bangor High school. He was A navy Veteran Viet Nam era 1961-1962 serving aboard the USS Valley forge As a boilerman 2nd class in the southern pacific region. Then 1962-1966 in the Pennsylvania reserves Wayne Retired from Just born Inc in 2006 with 30 plus years in the maintenance department. He was Married to the late Donita Mazur with whom he had 3 children. Predeceased By A son Robert (Bobby) Hunt in 2018 Survived by his widow Susan of Allentown Pa. A daughter Patricia (Patty) And her husband Warren with whom he was living at the time of his passing in Coeur d Alene Idaho. And another Son Steven of Lansford Pa. on December 5th 1981 He Married the love of his life Diane (VanKirk ) A Gaining a second Daughter Lori her husband George of Raubsville Pa Wayne Had 11 grandchildren Matthew Sean Phillip Joshua Jacob (Jake) James Jennifer Colleen Stephanie Steven H and Steven Jr. 16 Greatgrandchildren with another due this summer. He is also survived by his sister Sandy Wambold of Bangor And Many Nieces and nephews and was predeceased By a Brother Gary Hunt. A Graveyard service will be held at Northampton memorial shrine section I At 10 am on March 29, 2025. Family and friend's welcome. A celebration of life will be held the same day beginning at 1:30 at the Washinton township Fire Co. 920 Washington Blvd (route 191) Bangor Pa. In Liew of Flowers Donations to the Fire company will be accepted during the celebration of life.
