Wayne Owen Kelly Sr.

Wayne O. Kelly Sr. (04/22/36 - 10/15/23) 87, of Sarasota, FL went to Heaven on Sunday, October 15th, 2023. He was born in Lexington, KY in 1936. He was the owner of Kelly's Pest Control for 35 years and was a resident of Sarasota since he was about 10 years old. Wayne and all his children graduated from Sarasota High School, and he was known as Cueball by his classmates. He served in the Army for 4 years. Kelly enjoyed spending time with all his kids and his puppies, watching westerns or army movies, coffee-shopping, and playing the lottery.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Charles Owen Kelly and Flora Dee Kelly, and his daughter Michelle Kelly.

Surviving family members include his wife Sue Kelly, Son Wayne Kelly Jr., Daughter Angel Kelly; 3 grandchildren Brittany Burroughs , Bobby Kelly, & Amberlynn Parodo; 5 great-grandchildren Nicolas, Braiden, Brysen, Aurora, and Garrett.

A brief military service will take place at the Sarasota National Cemetery at 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34207, promptly at 2:30 pm (please arrive by 2:15pm) ending at 3:00pm on Friday, December 1st, 2023.
