Wayne Odegard Obituary
ODEGARD, Wayne Morris July 7, 1945 - March 2, 2010 Wayne passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Wayne will be remembered as a kind heart who cherished his family and his friends more than anything else. He had a special passion for music, volunteering, enjoyed playing Old Timers Hockey and loved his work as a counsellor. He is survived by his father Russell, his wife Leanne, his four children, Christine, Sherry, Mike and Tammy, and his grandchildren, Mitchell, Nathan, Connor, Annelise, Curtis, Evan and Baillie. Wayne you are very dear to us all, thank you for the precious memories. Your sense of humour will live on in all our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held on the 13th of March at 1:00 p.m. at the Firefighters Club, 6515 Bonsor Ave. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I have known Wayne since we were kids and we shared many fun times together while growing up. It is kind of like losing part of me. Even though we had drifted a part in later years, I always knew he was there as a friend, no matter what. I will miss you my friend, until we meet again.

I met Wayne in 1976 and we became fast friends. We shared a special bond. Mae and I wish to pass on our condolences to Leanne and family and will keep Wayne in our hearts forever
