I am sorry we haven't been closer in touch the past few years. There are many good memories with the families together when we were younger. Many stories. We had talked about meeting in Fairmont for a beer and golf, I wish we had done that. He will be missed by everybody.

We were so sad to receive the phone call from Natasha informing us of the passing of her dad.
We have happy memories of our association with "The Zoo". In the '70's and '80's when we lived in Prince George, BC and in Bowser, BC (Vancouver Island) they would stop for visits. Usually with 20 loads of laundry to do. The washing machine usually broke down and the same serviceman would come and repair. Staying for a beer after and laughing how much he enjoyed the Robinson family stopping as they were his best annual customer.
On the island the kids loved going to the beach searching for sanddollars, digging clams, learning why they had to spit first before you could cook and eat them, chucking oysters, understanding sealife in general.
Wayne always saying .."NO, you are not taking anything from the beach home with you!" But Brenda and I would always find a corner somewhere to tuck a couple of buckets for the kids, grinning the whole time!
His life was too short but you cannot say he didn't live it.
We are grateful he was given quality time to spend with his children and to enjoy he beautiful grandchildren.
We regret that we are unable to attend the memorial today but our hearts are with you.
In time we know that happier memories will fill your hearts to help take away the pain you are feeling now.
With our love, Glenn and Judy Brydon

So Sorry, So Sad to hear Wayne is gone. Glad his pain is gone, but so Sad that he has left this world.
The Robinson boys and the Smyth kids, we grew up together. Wonderful memories of the shared relationship of our parents and eventually all of us children. The Grand Centre neighbourhood and before that the Cold Lake neighbourhood. The Christmas's, the Grandma Carr stockings that Aunt Jan remade for the Smyth kids. The old oil sheds out in the back yard. So much fun! The raising children together. The loss of Bill, then Uncle Russ, and Aunt Jan, Kim and now Wayne. Distances apart haven't kept any feeling from our hearts. I will miss knowing that Wayne is always there.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells in the sand. The sun goes down, but gently warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains... For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.

So much sadness and missing for Wayne's Children, Grandchildren and Debbie and Brenda and Don and boys.
My Sympathy to all
