My sincere condolences to your family. It was always fun doing wine courses with Wayne.

I miss Uncle Wayne so much and love him and you with all my heart. He taught me to hit a baseball, the only sport I can even remotely attempt. :)

It's funny how the most random memories come flooding back when you lose someone you love. For instance, I remember spending an entire night drinking wine while Wayne taught me how to make the most amazing french onion soup! I will always think of him whenever we sit by a fire (day or night), as he loved having a fire burning while we sat on the deck or while the kids played in your yard! He was a great guy...a great brother-in-law...a great cook...a great photographer...a lousy card-player(!), but that gave me a better chance of winning(!)...and I miss him.

Barb - I also worked with Wayne for several years at Sobeys, and must say, it truly was a pleasure working with and knowing him.
I came across a quote that I feel really fits for Wayne, as his flame did indeed burn brightly:
Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it burned.
My condolences to you and your family.

Hi Barb. My sincere condolences go out to you at this difficult time. I'll remember Wayne's smilin' face at Patti's 40th birthday, laughing at/with all the comments during her roast/toast. May that memory and all the other special ones help you during this time. Let's do coffee, lunch, supper soon. David Vetsch
