Wayne SPERLING Obituary
July 14, 1955 - March 20, 2016
On March 20, 2016 Wayne passed away at the Royal Alex Hospital at the age of 60.
Wayne will be remembered by his loving wife of 40 years Carol; sons Jason (Shanda) with grandchildren Raymond and Aidan, and Brad (Donna); Mother Laurette; Siblings Brenda, Susan (Andy) Shephard, Terry (Suzy), and Darcy (Cheryl). Wayne will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Wayne was born in Edmonton and received his Management Development certification, Accounting Diploma from N.A.I.T. and C.M.A. Level 5. Wayne worked at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Northwestern Utilities Limited and Government of Alberta.
Wayne volunteered in his community with Little League Baseball, Canadian Little League Championships, Junior Achievement, Alberta Summer Games and coaching his sons various hockey and baseball teams.
Wayne was predeceased by his father Joseph in 2006.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, with a viewing 1 hour prior and a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's name may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society or Little League Edmonton District 2.

A richness of life was brought into our family when Shanda married Jason. Wayne and Carol shared their love of family with ours for the beginning.
