Tryggestad, Wayne Wayne Glen Tryggestad, age 80 of Boyceville, WI went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 14th, 2008 surrounded by his family. He was born in LaCrosse, WI on March 15th, 1928, a son of the late Otto and Olga Tryggestad. He was preceded in death by an infant son, James Lynn. Wayne worked for 23 years at GE in Morrison, IL. He retired in 1988 and relocated to Boyceville, WI. He is survived by his wife Joyce of Boyceville, son Daryl (Debra) of Baudette, MN, daughter Geraldine "Deenie" Kass of Lexington, KY, son Larry (Teresa) of Sterling, IL, son Randy of Boyceville, and daughter Cindy (Kelly) Cole of Eau Claire, WI. along with 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Ione Dana of Black River Falls, WI, sister Eunice Monteiro of Massachusettes, sister Joyce Swenson of Prairie Farm, WI, sister Eldoris Foust of Colfax, WI, brother Gordon (Gertrude) of Eleva, WI, and brother Keith (Julie) of Wyoming, MN. Wayne will be remembered for his quiet sense of humor,witty quips and sheepish grin. He was a man who said little but made a huge impact in the hearts of those who took the time to get to know him. He found great joy in loving his family and little dogs, working in his workshop, and fishing with his sons. He had a personal relationship with his heavenly Father whome he called friend. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 at the New Life Church of the Nazarene in Wheeler, WI with Rev. Steve Crites officiating. Interment followed at the Hay River Cemetary in Wheeler, WI. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2008 at Olson Funeral Home, in Menomonie, WI and one hour prior to service on Tuesday at the church.
