Weldon Frank Black, 92, of St. Augustine, Fla., died May 2, 2010, at his home. He was born in Anniston, Ala., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1962. He was an aircraft sheet metal worker for Fairchild and Naval Air Station Jacksonville. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Ancient City Baptist Church, Masonic Ashlar Lodge No. 98 and York Rite Bodies.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Craig Memorial Park, with the Rev. Joshua Dryer, pastor, Ancient City Baptist Church, officiating.
He was the husband of the late Rebon "Bobbie" Black.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Linda Black and Keith and Tami Black, both of St. Augustine, and Glen and Gayle Black, Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Catherine Howell, Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren, William Black, Cheryl Ann Black, Justin Black and Kyle Black; and two great-grandgrandchildren, Brandon and John Black.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
