Wende Luedecke

Wende Luedecke, age 57, passed away Wednesday December 9, 2020 in Midland, TX after suffering a severe stroke. Wende graduated in 1981 from Midland High School with honors and went on to attend Midland and Odessa College. She received her Cosmetology License from Odessa College. Wende was a Cosmetologist in Midland at numerous salons over the past 30+ years, the most recent was at Manor Park Wallace Building. She was a Christian and attended Golf Course Road Church of Christ as a child and young adult. She also attended Fairmont Park and One Hope Church of Christ. She was a great friend and would do anything for anyone at any time. Wende loved animals and was actively involved in pet rescue. Wende was preceded in death by her parents, James and Barbara Luedecke. She is survived by her brother, James Pat Luedecke and his wife Melinda; her nieces, Brittney Espinoza and her husband Gus and Kimber Luedecke-Barrientos and her husband Juan; her great nieces and nephews, Luis, Iliana and Jacob Gonzales, CJ Hunt, and Melodi Barrientos; her dogs, Agnew and Winston; and her cats, Kirby and Gracie. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home, officiated by Scott Sheppard of One Hope Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
