Wendy K. Burge, 48, of Monongahela, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, in Mon Valley Care Center, Monongahela. She was born March 25, 1956, in New Eagle, a daughter of William F. and Ruth Whitehead Burge, who survive and reside in Monongahela. Wendy was a graduate of Ringgold High School, Class of 1974. She was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents, she is survived by Jack Reed, with whom she made her home; four sisters, Ginny Lee Watson and husband William of Monongahela, twins Jean Fisher of Farmington and Joan Evans and husband Joseph of Monongahela, and Doris Forsberg and husband Craig of Monongahela; two brothers, William Burge and wife Toni of Monongahela, and Dean Burge and wife Stephanie of Finleyville; three nieces and nephews, Connie and Jeff Watson, Deanna and Dean Burge, Brandie Chisholm and Louie Wall; one great-nephew, Nathan Surge; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Burge; and one niece, Rena Burge. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the L.M. FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held Saturday, May 15 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Milinovich officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
