Wendy Ann Garr (Boyce), 56, of Logan, Utah, passed away on August 9, 2024. Born on January 12, 1968, in Logan, and will leave a lasting impact on those around her through her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit.

Wendy dedicated her professional life to the medical field, serving as the Head Allergy Nurse for Dr. T. Shill, a Surgical Scrub Nurse at Dixie Hospital, and a Commercial Nurse at Icon Health & Fitness. Her career was marked by a commitment to care and excellence, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and patients alike.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Wendy's true passion lay in her role as a mother. Known for her caring personality, she was often seen as a second mother to many, from her younger siblings to her daughter's friends and neighbors. Wendy's home was the heart of many gatherings, from festive Thanksgiving dinners to memorable Christmas Eve celebrations with Santa Claus visits, bonfires, and BBQs with family and friends.

An avid baker and reader, Wendy also enjoyed color-by-number activities, wreath making, and spending time with her beloved dog, Nibbler. Her hobbies were another avenue through which she expressed her love for bringing people together.

Wendy is survived by her ex-husband, Carl Ogden; daughter, Krystal Summers and son-in-law, Zach Summers; grandsons, Fred and Braxton Summers; siblings, Ryan Boyce, Aimee Garcia (Junior Garcia), Derek Fossett Boyce, and Kelton Boyce; niece, Kelsey Boyce; nephew, Tayson Boyce; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanine and John Boyce; grandparents, Virginia Gibbons "Gram," Marjorie Nelson "Grandma Marge," Dorothy and Jack Boyce "Grandma Dot" & "Grandpa Jack"; Uncle Tommy, Aunt Sandy, and sister, Shaylee Boyce.

Wendy's life was a testament to the power of friendship, family and care, she was a life long friend to all she knew and welcomed everyone with open arms. Her incredible warmth, heart of gold and bright light will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM In the Middle Bowery @ Mack Park, 70 W. Canyon Rd., Smithfield, UT. A balloon release in Wendy's honor will take place at 4:00 PM.
