I'll always remember his sense of humor, sweet nature and funny stories. His puzzle art is epic. Hiking with him and sweet Diana and concerts at the Reilly! Noel and I will miss him.

Mr. Bates was always kind to me whenever I was over the house hanging out with Eric. Man loved telling his dad jokes. A very kind man.

Wes always enjoyed serving everybody´s ICE-CREAM at the Wednesday night Mexican Train games!!! He had a servants heart... and "came to the rescue" more than once for a friend in need!!!

Wes always seemed to enjoy our company, and we surely enjoyed his. I just loved the couple of CF baseball games we went to together, and then to the Major League spring training game between the Detroit Tigers vs. the Philadelphia Phillies in 2024, with him and Diana in Lakeland Florida,
We will surely miss him,
Randy & Susie Rae

Wes: Always, yes, Always showed us how to be a blessing to others. He made a habit of making sure that Mom, Lois, received her cup of Miss Rose's sweet tea, scooped the ice cream (weekly, for the whole crew), and offered to lend help at every turn. Also, always had some fun, event (or post of interest) to SHARE. -RACH

Wes: Always, Always, willing to lend a hand, scoop the ice cream, clear the bowls and ALWAYS made sure Mom (of 95 yrs of age) was served some of Miss Rose's sweet iced tea. Thanks Wes, for showing me how to be a blessing. -Rach
