Whitney Elmore McKindley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 18, 2025.
Whitney Raye Elmore McKindley passed away in the early hours of April 17th, 2025 following sudden cardiac arrest. She leaves behind her husband, Johnathan, daughter, Parker, sister, Lindsey, mother, Laura, and grandparents, Neil and Linda, among countless other family members and loved ones. Whitney spent her life making those who knew her feel seen, heard, and supported. She was spectacularly funny, even and especially in the darkest of times. Whitney lived and loved so big. She was the best big sister. She was the best friend. She brought light and joy to the world through her presence and her art. A lifelong artistic talent, Whitney found her passions in graphic design and photography. Following the death of her father, Parke, in 2020, Whitney rekindled her love of photography and started a business dedicated to helping families preserve precious moments with their loved ones. As she assisted families in documenting their milestones, Whitney started a family of her own. She married Johnathan and they built a beautiful life together in Boise. She was the most dedicated mom. She spent her free time taking her daughter to explore nature, museums, aquariums, and zoos. She and Johnathan dedicated themselves to be the best parents they could be and worked to ensure had Parker all the support she could ever need. Whitney was loving. She was selfless. She was funny. She was strong. She was a granddaughter. She was a daughter. She was a friend. She was a sister. She was a wife. She was mother. She will be remembered. Her spirit will live in all who loved her.

Truly one of the brightest lights I´ve ever known. Whitney had a way of making everyone feel important and seen and included. She was hilarious and so genuine to her core. She loved her friends, her family, her husband and daughter so much and she will be missed forever.
