I was a member (Director) of Pre-Paid Legal Services just over 10 years, and got to meet him a couple of times, when Wilburn passed on from this life on earth to a place in Heavenly Father's celestial glory. His good nature, kindness and love will be remembered here, and welcomed in his new home with his past family and all the friends he made! He will be fondly remembered!

Carol and Willbur came to Richmond Va.
for his last super Saturday.. He laid it all out and gave us 110%. I love flying with Willbur doing events.. Never a second to rest he kept me on my toes.. He use call me and act like a lady calling from PPL and I was in big trouble..
He would laugh so hard and I would think how many times am I going to fall it? Every time.. He would call me often to coach me and mentor me but most of all he was my friend!

I heard Wilburn speak several times during his visits to New Orleans and it was his humble, down to earth personality that attracted people to him. My Fondest memories of Mr Wilburn Smith is the time in Jan 2006 when he trained me at an all expense paid trip to PrePaidLegal in the auditorium and took photos with us. Also Sept 2009 LasVegas telling the Leadership to respectfully return phone calls! I met Wilburn personally when I drove to Ada to solve a problem that I had struggled with by phone for about 3 months without resolution. When I explained my situation he turned to his assistant and said "This isn't right. Lets fix this" We spent only few more minutes with him, left with his card and personal cell number and resolution. I think of his warm smile, gentle nature, firmness, and a man of deep rooted integrity. PrePaid Legal will ALWAYS be different to me because of him. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet him personally and know his true nature-----------I was treated like a queen when really new with PPL and NOT yet burning the lines with business---but I was important to him and that mattered. I know your family will miss him daily, hourly and deeply. I pray you grieve well and move on as I believe would be Wilburn's heart desire for each of you.
