Carol and Willbur came to Richmond Va.
for his last super Saturday.. He laid it all out and gave us 110%. I love flying with Willbur doing events.. Never a second to rest he kept me on my toes.. He use call me and act like a lady calling from PPL and I was in big trouble..
He would laugh so hard and I would think how many times am I going to fall it? Every time.. He would call me often to coach me and mentor me but most of all he was my friend!
Gone but never forgotten!

I met Wilburn personally when I drove to Ada to solve a problem that I had struggled with by phone for about 3 months without resolution. When I explained my situation he turned to his assistant and said "This isn't right. Lets fix this" We spent only few more minutes with him, left with his card and personal cell number and resolution. I think of his warm smile, gentle nature, firmness, and a man of deep rooted integrity. PrePaid Legal will ALWAYS be different to me because of him. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet him personally and know his true nature-----------I was treated like a queen when really new with PPL and NOT yet burning the lines with business---but I was important to him and that mattered. I know your family will miss him daily, hourly and deeply. I pray you grieve well and move on as I believe would be Wilburn's heart desire for each of you.

Mr. Wilburn Smith's legacy will be remembered for many generations. His giving heart and simple nature set him apart as one of the greatest leaders in our industry. But, the high quality trait, Mr. Smith possessed was determination. Before, this day, I knew him as "the man that would not quit!" And though life has taken him from this world, his work still goes on. Thus proving to ALL of those who follow his example, that he still has not quit! Wilburn, you will be missed, but not forgotten. Rest well, you have earned it.

In our 28 years of combined time at Pre-Paid Legal Services we have experienced many wonderful things. Clearly, at the top of the top was our friendship with Wilburn! This gentleman was always focused on how he could help others! When people were in 'need', not matter what it took, Wilburn was ALWAYS there for us! He was one of the most giving people we have ever met in our lives! From the humor he always added at our events, the great gifts and cash he used to give away at our events, to the wonderful trips in his Lear 60, the great times on the golf course, and more importantly, just the hours we shared in phone calls, laughing together and discussing serious strategies to help our businesses grow! This gentleman is wonderful! Carol, Samantha and Julie, our family prays for you, and asks our Lord and Savior to comfort you! For Wilburn now is celebrating eternal life with our Heavenly Father! Praise God! We are always here for you if you need us! In love and friendship, Larry and Doni Smith
