Dear all,
We're all truly blessed with so many happy memories of Uncle Russ. I'll always remember him with a little twinkle in his eyes, an impish grin when Peggy would be telling some story about him, and an infectious laugh. I'm thankful to God for Russ' life, and pray that God extends his blessings on all of you today and always.

Russ will always remain in my mind as the wonderful, sweet uncle and godfather that he was to me. As a young girl i remember his visits to rowena with excitement as i waited anxiously to here him call me 'sug'. How happy we were when he brought his beautiful and funny wife, Peggy, into our family and had a wonderful family of his own.
I pray that you all find comfort in your good memories of Russ and know that he will always be alive in our hearts.
The best man!

The best man at my parent's wedding. The best uncle a guy could ever wish for.

Dear Peggy, Missie, Mark, and John,
I will miss Russell, and I remember the good times, such as playing Tripoly. I often shuffled cards for Russ, and Peggy said that since he couldn't shuffle and she couldn't dance, they were a "social disaster." I love Peggy's sense of humor. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers. Stay in touch and look us up if you are in SA. Love to all, Frances

Dear family,
Russ was always so special to us. Ken remembers so many wonderful memories growing up with him especially singing while doing the dishes. Of course I loved him like a brother and for 60 years he always called me "Sis". We will be with you in spirit.
Our love and Prayers

Peggy, Missie, John, Mark and familes,
Please accept my sympathy for your loss. Through this difficult time I know you will each remember and cherish wonderful memories of your husband/dad. I want to let you know that Russell was a very sweet uncle and he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Jan
