Wilfred BEAUSOLEIL Obituary

Published by Windsor Star from Aug. 23 to Aug. 24, 2012.
BEAUSOLEIL, Wilfrid J. (Joe)
March 28, 1948 - August 21, 2012
Age 64 years, peacefully in the arms of his loving family. Beloved husband of 39 years to Elaine (St. Onge) Loving father of Rebecca and husband Ed Neves and the late Albert Beausoleil (1999). Loving Pepe of Cannon and Cain Neves. Beloved son of the late Wilfrid (Chief) Beausoleil (1999) and Priscilla and Hector Bastien. Loving brother of Janette (Jim) Fleming, Irene (Pete) Harrison, Robert (Georgette) Beausoleil, Thomas (Cathy) Beausoleil, Joyce (Ken) Sauve, Christine (Bob) Mason, Richard (Marianne) Beausoleil, Ann Marie (Ed) Verbeke, and Priscilla (John) Ioccabelli. Beloved son-in-law of of Bernadette (St. Onge) and the late Earl (2007). Loving brother-in-law of Trina and Al Seguin, Julie and James Hobson and Suzanne and Fred Weber. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Best friend of Larry and Sharron Bastien, Bill and Diane Beacom, Jack Kungel and lifelong friend of Thom Morand. He worked in security for H. J. Heinz in Leamington for the past 29 years and was very fond of all the wonderful people he worked with over the years. To all of his family, friends and co-workers, Joe was a pillar of love and strength, someone they could count on for an honest opinion in any situation. His love of life was evident in everything he did, from raising his kids and playing with his grandkids, from photography to fishing to stained glass to playing his guitar and to his lifelong love of racing. He was a member of the ONDR, Ontario Nostalgia Drag Racing Association, which over the past few years brought all of his brothers together to form Beausoleil Racing. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with family and friends and the ONDR was the best of both worlds. He will be sadly missed by his extended ONDR family, especially Rick and Brenda Proctor. Thank-you to the wonderful staff in the oncology department at Leamington Hospital; Janet, Nancy, Marilyn and Nicki, who every day made this experience bearable. You are truly angels on earth, God Bless You. Thank-you to Dr. Hamm and all the staff at Metropolitan Hospital oncology and Transition to Betterness. Thank-you to all the people who donated blood and platelets which allowed his quality of life for so long, you too are angels on earth. Friends and family will be received at the
C. Stuart Sykes Funeral Home
91 Division St. S. Kingsville
from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 24. Funeral Mass will be held from St. John de Brebeuf Church, Kingsville on Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow in Windsor. If desired, donations to Leukemia Research or Transition to Betterness would be greatly appreciated. Please note friends are asked to go directly to the Church the day of Mass.
