Wilfred Carroll Obituary
Wilfred, son of Thomas and Sarah, was well known and will be remembered as a happy, accomplished, sharp-witted, and life-long Marchurst Road farmer. Wilfred was the devoted husband of the late Rita (Whalen) and loving father of Theresa (Glen) Davidson: cherished step-grandfather of Christian (and Family) and Mary Beth; fun-loving step-great-grandfather to Ruby and Jasmine. Brother of Desmond (the late Bernadette). Pre-deceased by Margaret, Dorothy (Bernard Foley), Isabel (Gordon Corcoran), Thomas, Ambrose (Theresa), Patrick (Anne) and Madesta. Brother-in-law of Betty (the late Thomas) Carroll and Michael (the late Madesta) Pinch. Respected and entertained by many nieces and nephews, Wilfred's good humoured presence will be forever missed. Memorial service, interment and reception to be held Monday, 11am, Nov 2, 2015 at St. Isidore Church, March Rd. Kanata. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart Institute.

We were very saddened to hear of Uncle Wilfred's passing. He was a wonderful man and we have many fond memories from family gatherings throughout the years. He will be greatly missed by all. Please take care and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our deepest condolences to you, Theresa, and your family. I am sure you feel the loss of your father very deeply. I have many good memories of visiting Aunt Rita and Uncle Wilfred at the farm as a child and remember Uncle Wilfred as a very kind and welcoming man who always took the time to chat with the "kids." We were so sad to hear about Uncle Wilfred's passing. Trips to the farm to visit Aunt Rita and Uncle Wilfred are cherished childhood memories that I will always hold dear to my heart.
When Aunt Rita passed away, Uncle Wilfred told us that he didn't just lose his wife, but he lost his dearest friend. A true partner who he had spent every single day with. I'm sure they are together again at last.
