Wilfred David Nave, Jr. WICHITA FALLS, TX - Wilfred David Nave, Jr., 70, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 17, 2021, at The First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Mr. Nave was born December 18, 1950, in Charleston, SC, to Wilfred and Allene (McNeill) Nave. He married Josie Kennedy on June 3, 1972, in Charleston, SC. He was in the US. Army Reserve and retired from Civil Service. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls as well as the First Baptist Church Choir and a Deacon of the Church. Survivors include his wife, Josie Nave; two sons, Jonathan Nave and wife, Erika, and Joshua Nave and wife, Heather; daughter, Jordan McGaughey and husband, Jayson; 4 grandchildren, Savannah Nave, Jameson Nave, Jaycob McGaughey, and Caroline McGaughey; two brothers, Michael Nave, and Steven Nave; 2 sisters, Joyce Baker, and Carol Sovak.
