Willem BOER Obituary
Dr Willem (Bill)
Born in Kutaraja, Sumatra 19.7.24, lived in the Dutch East Indies, Holland, Aruba and Australia. Died peacefully in Launceston, 27.11.17.
Pathologist, researcher and teacher, he led a long and interesting life and left a legacy of 11 children; (Anne (dec), Christine, Peter, Paulien, Joke, Bastiaan, Richard,
Jason, Andrew, Christopher
and Oliver), 22 grand-children and 6 great grandchildren. Many thanks to Pete and Alison de Boer and the staff at Regis Norwood for their care and kindness.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Dr. Bill De Boer. He and my father, Mr. Jack Nayman, were colleagues at the Royal Southern Memorial Hospital where they enjoyed doing research together. My father was the Senior Surgeon and Medical Superintendent. He died too early, in 1987.
