William Neil Aitkenhead II

Philadelphia, PA

William Neil Aitkenhead, II, of Philadelphia, PA, previously of Cherry Hill, NJ and Naples, FL, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2018, age 30. Beloved son of William N. Aitkenhead, Sr. (Dawn) and Beth Gilas (Tony). Loving brother of Clinton Grant (Sarah), Chad Grant (Karen), Andrew Aitkenhead, Jason Hoffman, and Rachael Harmon. Caring grandson of Joan and Rich Massey, and Georgia Gilas. Devoted uncle of Evelyn, Chayce, Gaige, and Deklan. He was also survived by his beloved dog Piper. Neil was a Corporate Pilot for Colleen Corporation. He achieved his lifelong dream as Pilot-in-Command of the Gulfstream 550.

If Neil was writing this he'd say don't forget that I had incredible hair, was a snappy dresser, super funny, killer guitar player, skateboard superstar,

and friend to all the underdogs; that he called you out in a nice way, loved his family, made a great omelet, carried a pic of his dog in his wallet and was famous to his nephews for the rally-call "We Like to Party."

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday, March 14, from 6pm to 9pm and on Thursday from 10am to 12pm at Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton, NJ. A time of sharing will follow the viewing on Thursday. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Neil's name to a charity of your choice.

Neil was always "Paying it Forward" to others, so please do so in his memory.

May peace be yours to bring you and your family comfort. May you have courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. May God continue to comfort your family (Psalm 9:9,10).

Bill and Dawn.

I am deeply sorry to hear this news. Neil was such a happy presence. He would zoom in on his motorcycle waving as he passed. And that grin! Please know Bill and I are thinking of you.

Warmly,

Chris Wells

We remember Neil as a kind warm genuine gentle person who cared more about others than he did himself. We will miss his warm smile and gentle soul.
